Rip Station sells randomized, professionally graded cards, including Pokémon cards, and records ownership on Sui. The product is the graded slab assigned from a machine, not a factory-sealed booster and not an official Pokémon or Nintendo partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement. Buying a card does not give you intellectual-property rights in the character or artwork.
A blockchain record is a way to track who owns the vaulted item on the platform. It is not physical delivery, insured recoverability of every loss, or a solvency guarantee. What you buy
Each opening assigns one graded card from the machine's current inventory. Pokémon-branded machines still follow that rule: you receive a specific graded card, not a sealed retail pack of ungraded cards. Review live contents and odds on the pack and on the EV page before paying. Past pulls do not predict your next card.
Email, wallet, and the Sui record
You can start with email sign-in, which creates a wallet in the background, or connect a compatible Sui wallet. The wallet is where card ownership and available balance are managed. Signing in does not require you to arrive with a separately configured crypto wallet, and paying by card through the payment provider is separate from understanding Sui.
Under section 7 of the terms, title is assigned when the purchase completes and users retain ownership of vaulted items. Rip Station acts as a custodial agent; physical collectibles are stored at third-party professional vault and grading facilities. The on-chain or account record lets you manage the item. The slab does not travel to you automatically when the pack opens.
This guide does not publish sample contract addresses or explorer links. Use only the object identifiers the product actually shows for your item. A public chain record still does not prove that every operational risk is covered.
Custody is not possession
Ownership and physical possession are different. While the card is vaulted you can keep it, list or sell it when those features are available, or request shipment. Shipping is a separate redemption: address, identity checks, fees, and carrier rules apply. The service does not accept incoming physical-card submissions from users.
The terms describe vault insurance as coverage subject to policy terms, deductibles, and limits, and state that Rip Station itself does not act as an insurer of stored goods. Do not treat custody language as a promise that every loss is made whole.
Keep, ship, or sell back
- Keep: leave the slab vaulted. Estimated market value can change while you hold it.
- Ship: redeem for physical delivery and pay the quoted shipping and any applicable withdrawal fees. International customs are separate.
- Sell back: an optional, time-limited offer based on estimated card value, not a refund of the pack price. The standard rate and seven-day window are explained on the live facts page; the program can change or be suspended.
