It does not mean every product is a factory-sealed Pokémon booster, and it does not mean every opening is a Rip Station machine. What Rip Station is, and is not
On Rip Station, paying for a pack and opening it assigns one graded card from that machine. The physical slab stays in vault custody until you keep it vaulted, request shipment, or accept an available buyback. It is not a sealed retail booster containing a fixed number of loose cards, and a promotional image of a high-value card is not the item being sold to every buyer.
Inventory-based odds and estimated values change as cards leave or enter a machine. Use the live EV page for current snapshots rather than a number remembered from an older article. The Terms of Service treat pack openings as purchases of randomized contents, not as a promised rarity or return.
Pay, reveal, then choose keep, ship, or sell back
- Pay. Review the machine, the checkout total, and any disclosed fees. Digital pack purchases are final and non-refundable under the terms.
- Reveal. Opening assigns the card. Its estimated value may be significantly less than the pack price.
- Keep, ship, or sell back. Keep it vaulted, start a shipment, or inspect an available time-limited buyback offer. Buyback is optional, based on estimated card value rather than a refund of what you paid, and is not guaranteed liquidity.
If you want one specific card, a randomized pack is usually the wrong tool. Compare random packs with buying a listed card before repeating openings to chase a target.
