ABOUT THIS CARD

Charizard is a rare holo Pokemon card from Pokemon Evolutions, card 11 of 108, released November 2, 2016 in the XY series. The illustration is by Mitsuhiro Arita.

Evolutions (2016) reprinted the Base Set frame for the 20th anniversary, and its Charizard — the same 1999 art in a modern holo — became the set's defining card. It was many returning collectors' first re-entry purchase during the set's enormous print run.
